SHORT TERM FUN FUND

We guarantee that not one dollar contributed to this fund will be put toward anything prudent or sensible. Likely candidates include orders of two dozen oysters on our honeymoon, lush British corduroys for Annie to sew, fair-condition used books for Owen to read while the sewing machine goes thump, thump, thump.

Thank yous may include: excerpts from Annie’s vacation sketchbook; photographs of Owen in whatever new trousers Annie makes for him; action shots of a VEP Chartreuse unboxing.

LONG TERM RESPONSIBILITY FUND

Every dollar in this fund goes right to the bank to become more dollars. Monies here will stay put until such Meaningful Life Events as relocating to Vermont, bambini arrival, or the first half dozen Valais lambs.

Thank yous may include: heartfelt thanks from our parents for not picking the other fund, first-to-know access to upcoming MLEs.

KITCHEN AID MIXER FUND

Annie has been dreaming of a KitchenAid Stand Mixer since childhood. Owen has been dreaming of a KitchenAid Stand Mixer since the first time Annie made pasta at home. Together, they continue to dream of the KitchenAid Stand Mixer and its many gadgets.
